I got such a buzz out of photographing Charlotte and Marks Cheshire wedding in Eccleston Chester and I think a large part of it was genuinely down to how relaxed and welcoming all their family and friends were.
The day itself began with Charlotte and her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents house. I could tell straight away by all the jokes and laughter as i walked up the stairs, making my way to their room that this was going to be a fun one. Also the fact Mark had discreetly hidden a personalised card for Charlotte with a beautiful, heartfelt inscribed message definitely helped in getting early morning emotion pumping. There were tears trust me!
Charlotte and Mark got married at Eccleston church which is just a few miles from where Charlotte was raised and after a relaxed and light hearted ceremony all the guests and the bridal couple made their way down on foot to the reception at Eccleston Village Hall. Luckily someone mentioned that it was only about 100 feet down from the church as I was just about to get in my car and drive there!
Charlotte’s helpers had done an amazing job decorating the venue and it had such a query, fun and vintage vibe that I’d definitely a big fan of. luckily the weather gods were in our favour and we were able to grab some portraits in beautiful Chester meadow and also by the river which you can access just to the side of the hall. Magic!
Then after some pretty moving speeches. And some even better reactions the night was spent partying away with umbrellas (as props), dance music and lots and lots of shots!!!
Safe to say I loved every second of capturing this Cheshire wedding at Eccleston Village Hall and if anyone is after a Cheshire wedding venue then they should seriously check out this laid back space!
