Peckforton Castle
An actual castle! Cinderella-esque
So you're looking at Peckforton Castle as a potential wedding venue? Well If you're looking for the wow factor this has got to be it! It's a genuine fairytale castle set in ancient woodland complete with moat, tower, suits of armour and an epically long, sweeping drive. I only just given you the highlights here too. There's so much more to discover at this wonderful Cheshire wedding venue but I want to let you have your own fun in finding out what your favourite part is. Word of warning though here.....you may struggle to pick just one part. I've had the privilege of capturing a few weddings at Peckforton Castle now and each one has been sensational. We're had hot roasts in the main castle where you feel like literally kind and queen for the day as well as amazing entertainment acts, bands. silent discos, laser shows...you name it!
For me I love the setting. That long drive up with woodland surrounding you on each side and then you come to the top and the gate house and the castle itself spring in to view. It's definitely going to leave your guests speechless. I also love taking you off for 10 minutes to explore some of the woodland. Each time we've got totally different and unbelievably beautiful shots in their and because it's on the castle grounds itself then you're back to the wedding party before in seconds once we're done.
Peckforton Castle can accommodate weddings for up to 160 guests with 5 licensed rooms to choose from. There's also the option to have exclusive use of the entire venue. Then when the sun goes down there's 48 rooms for your guests to rest their weary heads including the stunning bridal suite!
The castle is the perfect retreat place and sanctuary for an enchanting, secluded wedding but also serves as a great base for you and your guests to explore the rest of Cheshire, with the walled roman city fo Chester only a few miles away as well as having good links with Liverpool, Manchester and the rest of the North West.
