Some weddings feel extra special—and for me, this was one of them. When Damien reached out to ask if I’d photograph his wedding to Lauren, I was genuinely thrilled. Having known Damien from our younger years, it felt like such a privilege to be asked to capture such an important day in his life.

Set at the breathtaking Dorfold Hall, Lauren and Damien’s wedding was elegant, emotional, and full of heart. Dorfold is one of those venues that instantly impresses—its historic charm, sweeping grounds, merged with ultra-modern and chic architecture provided the perfect backdrop for a day full of unforgettable moments.

From the moment I arrived, there was a buzz in the air. Both the bridal party and the groomsmen were all in great spirits and determined to have the best day.  Which kicked off in the traditional wedding barn with a heartfelt and intimate ceremony,  filled with quiet glances, joyful tears, and the kind of love you don’t need words to understand. It was clear how much these two mean to everyone in the room. After the "I do’s", guests spilled out onto the lawn to celebrate under blue skies, with champagne flowing. Lots and lots of champagne!

As the day continued, we explored the grounds together for portraits—Dorfold’s gardens, hidden corners, and long, tree-lined paths made for stunning backdrops and then as the sun set and the party came to life, the evening begin with some super unique speeches! Not sure I've ever experienced a better best man rap battle before!

Being part of Lauren and Damien’s wedding was a true honour—not just as a photographer, but as a friend. Capturing their love story at such a beautiful venue is something I’ll treasure.
