Alma De Cuba

Spectacular and unique bar and restaurant (and our wedding reception!)

So Alma De Cuba as a wedding venue is best explained through a personal experience. Ours! In 2015 we got married just down the road at the magnificent St George's Hall and with all that splendour in the day we were looking for somewhere that would give us the party and carnival atmosphere we were looking to create for our wedding reception and evening celebration. Well after having an anniversary dinner there one night and paying the bill we half joked to the waitress that we'd love to get married here. She wasn't shocked and told us they had done it once before.......We sent the deposit the next day and never regretted the decision!

We had exclusive use of the Liverpool Wedding venue and the sit down meal was on the whole mezzanine. I perfectly different and alternative wedding breakfast which is exactly what we wanted. Then with our wedding photographer the wonderful Liam Crawley from The Crawleys we went for a wander around the surrounding streets for some creative portraits. most are filled with cool street art and such a cool vibe. We loved and fully embraced this with our wedding photographs as I'm sure you will too!

Then the carnival I was talking about earlier. Well we had a gospel choir, a rose petal drop from the balcony for our first dance, fire breathers, samba carnival dancers. It was bonkers and something I definitely recommend! ion you need any recommendations for suppliers please just ask!

Then when the party was done we crossed the street, walked 50 yards down the road to our accommodation at Epic Apart Hotel. Of course being smack bang in Liverpool City Centre there is so much choice for accommodation you will definitely find somewhere to suit yours and your guests taste and budget.

In terms of practicalities Alma De Cuba has capacity to sit 160 guests for your wedding breakfast and 400 guests inside the venue for the party! The building can also be hired out in full or just part and you can take over the vestry!

If you're thinking of holding your wedding at Alma De Cuba, Liverpool and would like some more information or want to have a chat about me being your Liverpool Wedding photographer then please get in touch and we can have a chat about how you're planning your dream wedding.
