I have photographed many weddings at Highfield hall and each time I remember what a great venue this is. Set away in the countryside yet just over the border from England with great links to all the major northern cities this intimate venue has plenty to draw people in.

Firstly there's the option to get married on the lawn. If it's a nice day the venue definitely has a typical British garden party vibe to it complete with croquet and lawn games but if the weather is playing ball (sorry for the pun here!) there are several function rooms to choose from where 160 guests seated can be accommodated. There is also 15 bedrooms available most with imposing features such as the marble fireplaces and four poster beds.

I always think of Highfield Hall as a great blank canvas. Somewhere where you can add and put your own stamp on your wedding day but still have the beautiful setting and gardens you want for those all important wedding photo's!
