Soughton Hall as a wedding venue sets expectations exceeding high from the outset. I mean let's talk about 'that drive'. Wowwwwww. If there's a better entrance to a wedding venue I haven't seen it yet! Tree lined and imposing I've got some amazing photographs of couples wandering down here in the past.
Full of character, charm and warmth, this lovingly restored hotel boasts 15 individually decorated bedrooms and a host of stunning, but cosy reception rooms. I love how grand this building is. The dining room and drawing room are absolutely beautiful rooms to get married in and couples can also choose to say 'I do' in the script walled garden just outside and have the Hall as an incredible backdrop for your photos. Soughton Hall also has a marquee which is the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast and for the inevitable party afterwards!
Im'm not sure what my favourite part of this hall is. I love the immaculately kept grounds and the texture of the surrounding walls but also the interior with its grand , sweeping staircase, tall ceilings and original features. All make for amazing wedding photographs. Whether that's for couple portraits or just of your guests exploring the estate your dream country hall wedding is going to look sensational!
In terms of accommodation Soughton Hall has 15 individually decorated bedrooms, each stylishly designed. Modern yet full of charm and warmth. On the grounds there is also picture perfect cottage where guests can also stay and it also makes a great base for one side of the bridal party is getting ready in the morning whilst the other is in the main house!
