Tyn Dwr Hall

Enchanting country house

Tyn Dwr Hall is the very definition of hidden gem! on the outskirts of then picturesque North Wales town of Llangollen, down weaving country lanes lies a woodland drive that opens up to the most impressive country hall and although it's only been open a few years it's well up there with my personal favourite North Wales wedding venues!

Dating back to 1866 this imposing venue was loving restored to not only it's former glory but also updated to be the perfect wedding venue by a local family who have done such an amazing job!

The grounds are absolutely enchanting! Ancient woodland on all sides, the most amazing stream complete with bridge and waterfall, all whilst being nestled in stunning welsh hills! It's non wonder why couples choose to get married outside here (weather permitting!) where ceremonies take place under Tyn Dwr Hall's wonderful summer house just on the banks of the stream. A truly romantic setting to say I do I'm in total love with this wedding venue and it's hard to beat the happiness and energy of wedding guests enjoying the view on the terrace whilst having there drinks or canapés on a nice day. Certainly makes my job very easy!

On to the hall itself and the best place to celebrate your wedding! The charming Ballroom is able to accommodate up to 120 guests seated being the ceremony is finalised by the ringing of the original bell in its tower! Then make your way to The Garden Room, a purpose built stunning setting for your wedding breakfast with striking floor-to-ceiling windows providing a panoramic view of the welsh countryside.

What I love most about this venue is how much it has at your disposal. Little rooms and nooks and crannies. Bar's that are just tucked away (aka The Dickens Bar) as well as amazing features. Definitely a place you will never forget and an fantastic place for wedding photo's!

Staying at Tyn Dwr Hall is another areas where it particular shines too! Tyn Dwr Hall can accommodate 66 guests with options including The 12th Century Yer Tree Cottage, The Coach House as well as the amazing Yurts which are situated in the Hall grounds with views of the welsh mountains. Having stayed in one of these previously I can vouch for the good nights sleep! No matter which you choose rest assured all rooms are individually styled and wonderfully different and unique!
