Old Palace Chester Wedding

Old Palace Chester is such a stunning wedding venue and being my first occasion shooting here I was very excited. Also the fact that Molly and Andy are a super lovely couple and they'd already had to move there wedding date twice before because of the pesky Covid! So they'd definitely waited long enough and I think that's why the day was such a success!
First let's talk about the weather......well it was hot, very hot if not approaching scorching. But for Molly and Andy they both got the dream wedding outside they'd always wanted so we were off to a great start. Luckily with fans blowing in all directions and the staff at Old Palace expertly looking after her, Molly was able to get ready in the gorgeous bridal prep room. Big shout out to Gemmabaxmua and Tone Hair Design for making all the girls look amazing. Top work! And when Molly was in her dress the final touches as well as heartfelt note written by Andy was ready in Jaw dropping Palace Suite. Seriously pictures dog not do it justice! That ceiling!
The ceremony was pretty epic too with the happy couple saying their vows on the lawn in front of the house with Oona Linnett Harpist playing beautifully throughout. From this point on the drinks flowed and they flowed. Everyone had so much fun soaking up the sun on terrace with a gin in hand. At some point though Molly and Andy wanted to take a break so we decided to take a walk down to the river which the palace overlooks (literally a 30 second walk). Being such hot day the it seemed the entire population was there to greet them but fortunately they both loved being celebrities for the day!
We slowly took the walk back as Molly also had a surprise in store for Andy....(ooo the intrigue)...So as they got back to the wedding the reveal took place. Molly had booked a gospel choir if you've not heard of Gospel choirs 4 Weddings then please check them out! Honestly so good. It also led to the newlyweds having an important first dance! Love it.
The rest off the day passed with plenty of music, drinks, good food and plenty of laughs! Exactly the way it should be. Take a look at some of the day below!
